Brien.tech Portfolio

A clearer account of what I build and how I work.

I designed and built this site to give hiring teams a faster way to understand how I solve problems. It connects my résumé with deeper case studies that show the decisions, systems, and outcomes behind the bullet points.

Why I built it

A traditional résumé can list tools and responsibilities, but it rarely shows how someone scopes a problem, makes tradeoffs, verifies the result, and improves it over time. I built brien.tech to make that work visible.

Each project explains the problem, my role, the implementation, and what I verified. Reviewers can understand the work without reconstructing it from a repository.

What I delivered

  • Focused information architecture: separate landing, résumé, projects, case-study, and blog routes with consistent navigation.
  • Project detail: case studies connect the business need with my decisions, implementation, and verification.
  • Accessible presentation: semantic structure, keyboard navigation, responsive layouts, theme support, and reduced visual noise.
  • Production delivery: custom-domain hosting on Vercel, search and social metadata, and repeatable build verification.

How I work

I used AI-assisted development to accelerate research, drafting, implementation, and review. I kept the product decisions and final verification grounded in the real site. I refined the content in small releases, checking every change in context instead of treating the portfolio as a one-time design exercise.

The result is intentionally lightweight: static pages load quickly, require little maintenance, and keep the focus on the work. I maintain it in small releases and verify the affected pages after each production deployment.
